Graduation from an ACOE accredited school / college of optometry

Passage of NBEO Part I and Part II (official scores will be sent to ORMatch from NBEO) prior to ORMatch rank deadline

Interview at Jesse Brown & Hines VA

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has mandated that anyone in contact with patients within the Veterans Health Administration, including health professions trainees (HPTs), prior to the employment start date.
The residency program runs from July 1 thru June 30 of the following year.
However, please note that new resident orientation begins one week prior to starting the residency July 1.
