Residents are presented with a high patient volume and gain a large amount of experience diagnosing and treating complex ophthalmic conditions in a patient population with a high prevalence of systemic disease.
Our high patient volume allows residents to gain a large amount of experience managing complex ophthalmic conditions in a population with a high prevalence of systemic disease.
Residents are presented with a high patient volume and gain a large amount of experience diagnosing and treating complex ophthalmic conditions in a patient population with a high prevalence of systemic disease.
Each resident rotates one day per week at Hines VA where they are immersed in both the outpatient and inpatient delivery of low vision, including interaction with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Residents are presented with a high patient volume and gain a large amount of experience diagnosing and treating complex ophthalmic conditions in a patient population with a high prevalence of systemic disease.
Residents get the unique experience of fitting medically necessary contact lenses for a variety of corneal conditions using soft, RGP, and scleral lenses.
